The Shack

Located near the Turkey Farm, the term "Shack" might not be a fair description. It was once a fairly nice, if modest, house but is now in serious disrepair.

County records show easements, right of ways, and other activity starting around 1889. However, the records state that there are no buildings (even though they have photos on file.)

The B&W photo was taken on 5x7 film, the rest are the result of a quick survey of the location.

We plan to return for a more thorough treatment soon.
